The lithium batteries are 40% lighter than standard NiCD/NiMH battery packs making the drill lighter than older Makita models.
The Makita BHP451RF has 3 drilling speed and a 4 pole motor for delivering a high level of consistent torque. Other handy features include the bright built-in LED job light and single sleeve keyless chuck which makes changing bits quick and easy.
